Today especially I remember my dad. The man who taught me to - TopicsExpress

Today especially I remember my dad. The man who taught me to tie my shoes, shave my face, make an almost perfect pancake . . . And he taught me through example: To courageously love all my neighbors, to see their worth, dignity and that they too - no matter what they are going through - resound with divinity; That attitude is a matter of choice not a matter of circumstance, That no matter what others do to you or say about you, always strive to embrace them and the world with kindness, decency, and love. That character, service, hard work and discipline are the only ways to earn success that is truly meaningful. To never lose your laugh or take yourself too seriously. To strive to be joyful and grateful for though life is a struggle it is abundant with blessings - and that we should seek always to be blessings to each other never forgetting that often the biggest thing we can do in any day is a small act of kindness. RIP Dad. Death can end a life, but not a love.
