Today in KinKs History Justice is Done when on January 17, 1990 The Kinks are inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Fellow inductees on this date include the Four Tops, the Four Seasons, Bobby Darin, Simon & Garfunkel, and The Who. All four of the original Kinks attend the ceremony, at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in New York City. They are introduced by Graham Nash, who recalls the old days in 1964 when the Hollies and the Kinks toured together as part of a package tour headlined by the Dave Clarke Five.
