Today is World Humanitarian Day- 19 August. I dont want to preach, but the current number and scale of man-made crises in the world is unprecedented (Syria, Iraq, Libya, Gaza, Ukraine, South Sudan, Central African Republic, Mali, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, etc.) and more than 50 million people worldwide are displaced by violence. This is an utterly unsustainable situation. So please think about supporting the work of neutral organizations that provide relief and justice (e.g. UNHCR, World Food Programme, International Committee of the Red Cross, Médecins Sans Frontières, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Oxfam), and also urge your governments to do good without applying disgusting double standards. Thank you!
