Today is a special day of remembrance for me. We lost a great and honorable man this day last year. Rest in Peace my Brother. Mikey D, you are missed. Mikey and I served together for 4 years on the same SF NG ODA with 20th SFGA out of MD. He had come off active with Ranger Bn and then went back to serve with honor and distinction with 7th and CAG. When he retired, he worked with me and my company, Specops, and did some TV contracts with me, too. In addition to his great military career, Mikey was a DC Cop and a Boxer and trained kids and young lady boxers, too. All around, a salt of the earth kind of guy and full of life and fun. Some folks are taken from us too early, and so it was the case here. We send prayers out to you, Mikey. I count you in mine every day, without fail. And we pray for your family, as nothing could ever replace you. Until we meet again on the far side, God Bless and peace be with you. (Please note, we are no longer asking for help for his wonderful wife and widow and his lovely family with five children, including his amazing young son.
