Today, there are many hearts hurting. People grieving over the tragic death of a beloved soul whose body of work touched hearts, awakened compassion and strength and hope. We feel more fragile as a result. We remember the times weve been careless with others or neglected to take just that one extra moment to offer a smile or a kind word. We may wonder how someone so beloved by so many could feel so alone, and that too makes us question how alone we all truly may be. Robin Williams reminds us of our own vulnerability. His humor rose out of the ashes of his own pain and fears, something we all share--those dark moments when we wonder if were truly lovable, or worry that our bodies arent appealing or that we just arent Enough in this crazy world of glossy head shots and photoshopped perfection. You are a Wonderful Person and Perfectly Lovable Just As You Are. Then offer up some perspective that the past you doesnt yet know--Your kids turned out great, by the way. You got through that one year and then felt fantastic. Your skin cleared up and you did find love! Or whatever personal tidbits he or she has yet to discover. Offer love and smiles to those you can, and most especially to yourself. Begin today setting up a habit of offering Love and Support to YOU. Set up a pattern where you offer comfort, insight, and love to your past self, and always remember to lean towards your future selfs compassion. Begin today, and Begin Yesterday. You Are Loved.
