Today’s Prayer Heavenly Father as we come boldly Your throne of grace, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask You for forgiveness for all our sins as we forgive those who have sinned against us. We pray for all ADF Personnel and their families and we thank You for their salvation. Lord, Your word says, “After three months we set sail in a ship that had wintered in the island ....” Acts 28:11 and Lord today we pray for all those who set sail onboard HMAS Melbourne for their six month tour of the Middle East under Operation Slipper. We also pray for their families and loved ones who will be waiting and praying for their safe return. Lord we pray that You will stand will all the families during this time of separation. We also pray that those who need assistance while their loved ones are away will receive help from those around them in their communities who will show support to those whose loved ones serve our nation. We thank You Father that all ADF Personnel are safe under the shadow of Your wings and that no weapon formed against them will prosper, that every evil word spoken against them will fall to the ground. We thank You they are all safe from the plots of their enemies and that Your angels surround them and protect them. In the name of Jesus Christ we bind every assignment of Satan against all present and former ADF Personnel this day and we loose the love, joy and peace of the Lord over them all. All this we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our Saviour. Amen
