Transparency - Often people dont know what is going on in their local government or even how it works. It is not their fault this is the case. We all lead busy lives and dont always make time to delve into such matters. But I believe this is an area where problems can occur because there could be a publicly perceived lack of public reporting on the affairs of that office. I am not speaking ill of our media. Nor do I mean to say there is any negligence in any form on the part of the current office. What I offer is meaningful reporting that goes above that required by state law and genuinely informs citizens of the actions of the county clerks office. I ask for your vote in the upcoming GOP Primary scheduled for May 13, 2014. If you are an early voter, please remember your ballot will arrive soon. It must be mailed in to arrive before the Primary Election Day for it to be counted. Thank you Cass County for being my home.
