Trip details for the weekend..... (from John Wilkinson) The weather looks good, winds are not unfavorable - not quite perfect direction but not strong. Saturday will be a paddle along the Woodford River from Ballyconnell to Crom Estate. This is a 15km paddle so will be a long but leisurely day. The shuttle set up is a long one so we will need to start early!!! Sunday will be a paddle along the Erne River from Belturbot to Crom Estate. We have three distance choices - 7, 8.5 and 14km which we will decide on on Sunday morning. Again the shuttle is longish so we will need to take that in to account in choosing the route. We would aim to depart home from the finish at Crom so we would aim to leave Share in the morning all packed and ready to head for home from Crom Estate. Both days be prepared with lunch, energy food and fluids! Something hot is a good idea . . . as is a coat should our weather choose to be unpredictable (as always!!) See you all Friday evening some time. ;-) There is a £3 fee per boat/ car each day to use the Crom Jetty
