Two more early coloured multi-view postcards both by the printer Jackson formerly of the Market Place. They had previously printed some of Tennysons works and were situated in the large building now occupied by Oxfam. Many might know it as Parkers although it was owned by Owen Raybould for many years. One card has the central motif of the heraldic arms of Louth with the motto - Deo Adjuvante Non Timendum (With Gods help nothing need be feared). It is said that the golden wolf was in use by Nicholas de Luda, clerk to Edward III, as early as 1351.
