Tym guitars will be closed tomorrow (Friday 14th Nov) so this bunch of self important financial wizards can sit at expensive tables and pretend to make the world a better place. We will ATTEMPT to be open on Saturday and Sunday as normal. Despite government and council assurances saying none of this will effect retail I have grave doubts for any business in, or close to the exclusion zone For those of you thinking of physically protesting this event. There are measures in place to stop you and these measures are extreme to say the least. In a country where we are not used to people walking around in flack jackets with sub machine guns it will be daunting to say the least. The people in charge and on the ground are not here to joke with you. They will use unnecessarily nasty measures to show you they are in charge and you are not. PLEASE be sensible and safe. Remember also that destroying or damaging a small independent business DOES NOT send a message to a government or organization. It just destroys the lives of those who have poured everything into them. If you feel the need to protest, please do it passively, intelligently and with respect, especially to those who are not directly involved in this farce. Hopefully see you on Saturday or Sunday.
