UPDATE: Carter wont be coming home today :/ He passed his car seat test like a big boy but after reviewing the details of why the first test failed they decided to monitor him another 5-7 days for Bradys and Desats. I have to say, this is a rollercoaster of emotions because we were so close and now were here. Although its upsetting, Chris and I understand that its for his best interest. One of the risks that we were facing if we brought him home was SIDS. As cute as he is, He is still premature and not developed yet. So what ever doctor says, goes. Hopefully in a week he gains more weight and is more developed. His gestational age would be 35 weeks, so even better. I am, without a doubt, heartbroken but am fully aware that it IS whats best. Sooo, well just have to wait a little longer for my big boy to come home. :)
