UPDATE: For those who have been following my journey against cancer, heres the most recent news. I am doing well :). I am almost done with radiation, all next week I get the radiation boost directed (stronger than radiation Ive been getting)to the tumor site and then I am done next Friday. I still have chemo (Herceptin) every three weeks for a total of 1 year of treatment. Then lets see Ive registered for nursing classes..I start Jan.12 with my prerequisites for nursing, then I have to apply for the actual nursing classes once I meet those requirements. I have to test and apply in September. I could have gone for June testing but that would have put too big of a work load on me as I am also working full time @ JP Morgan Chase in Westerville with a temp agency and hoping to get hired on full time within the next month. Im feeling ok..I have pain in the larger bones and joints and still tire quickly...but I am working and managed 12 days straight and starting an 18 day stretch as of today. And my busy job is helping me shed a few of these extra unwanted pounds. All is good in my world. Thank you all for the prayers, positive thoughts and energy, some of you I know only as Facebook friends because you know a family member of mine...you have been angels to me during the darkest, scariest, most difficult fight and times of my life, you were my light in the tunnel to help me see and keep moving forward with my fight...and guess what WE ARE STILL WINNING THIS FIGHT AGAINST CANCER! Thank you all. I am very optimistic about my life and think all is moving a positive direction. Fight Like Girl...and think pink! Get your mammograms, do monthly self breast exams. It could just safe your life, as it did mine! Please I beg of you just do it. Dont worry about cost most hospitals have programs to cover the cost if you cant afford! Thanks again...life is good!
