UPDATE on MaMoose. Well, I was hoping to see a positive move forward today when I visited my mom. But unfortunately, it was more of the same. It seems like shes not improving and its hard to see her like that. We all know my mother as a fun-loving, affectionate, warm and wonderful person. She is the type of person that would take care of everyone but herself first. So tonight my dad, brother and I go to sleep tonight heavy hearted and desperate for a little good news. In the midst of our sadness, the doctor keeps saying that she is improving slightly every day and that as soon as she can breath without the oxygen mask, she can be removed from ICU. So thats good, but when mom cant respond to our touch, our kisses and our voices it just seems like failure. So we are just trusting in the Lord right now. That trust in the Lord, a lot of prayers, and the doctors expertise is what we are clinging to. Thank you all for your prayers. Oswald Chambers once said, The purpose of prayer is not that we find answers, but that we find God. May we all find God daily as we lift my mother up in prayer. God hears all of you. I really believe that.
