Umu IGBO Ibem While we are busy killing ourselves over President Goodluck Jonathan and Gen. Mohammed Buhari, the truth is that the North and South-West are seriously strategically strategizing post 2019. The truth is, immediately Buhari lost in 2011, they started serious preparation towards 2015. Now, through violence and vocal standing of most of their leaders they have build a scenario that makes it look like : for the interest of peace lets handover power to the North after Jonathan. The IGBO nation seem not to be anywhere near in the Nigerian political equation. This is not even the problem. The problem is that we seem to be so comfortable with that. In fact, it is most unfortunate that most times any pro IGBO ideas are attacked by our own people who are supposed to support it. Again, the inhouse division is not helping matters. Some say it must be BIAFRA, some Nigerian president of Igbo extraction while few but, highly vocal and powerful elites are already voicing support for northern president after Jonathan. IGBO president ? Biafra? Northern president ? Which one should we start focusing on come 2019? I humbly suggest that Osi Asika, Ken Mcphail, John J Alozieuwa and Andrew Anya Etim should moderate this discussion. No name calling or abuse please. Remember, we all born differently and the circumstances of our upbringing are not same. As result, were entitled to sharing different opinions. Igbo kwenu! Let the debate begins.
