VICTORY FOR NORTH CAROLINA!!! The Ag-gag bill that was going to criminalize undercover investigations in animal facilities died completely. This is amazing news!!! Everybody is protecting these important undercover investigations that bring everything to the light of the public. It is through this medium that tons of slaughters house have been taken to court for animal abuses and even entire plants closed. Thank you all for your vote and for speaking up for the animals!! Courtesy of Wayne Pacelle... North Carolina’s ag-gag bill died on the vine, as the legislature adjourned today without taking final action on it. That makes it a clean sweep for us on ag-gag bills this year, with all 11 bills blocked, vetoed, or deferred to next year. These ag-gag laws are a strike against the undercover investigations of The HSUS and a small number of other animal welfare groups.
