We call on GEJ once more to sack minister of petroleum accused of stealing $20B of tax payers money from office. Cant he take a cue from Gowon for once? On july 28, 1974, the General had to reluctantly bow to the suit instituted against one of his cabinet ministers from benue (Mr J.S Tarka) by a lagos Businessman from the same middlebelt region (Mr Godwin Daboh) for alleged corrupt practices after exposure in the print media. Why cant we have such statesmanship in our leaders anymore? Is it that Mr President actually lacks the political Will to fight corruption head-on as being said in various quarters or what? And to think that this is the same man PDP has uninanimously endorsed as their presidential flagbearer come 2015! Which way Naija?
