We invite you to spend six days with your work-in-progress…and we promise they will be the most productive writing days of your career. Introducing the 2014 Novel-In-Progress Bookcamp, sponsored by the Wisconsin Writers Association and co-sponsored by the Chicago Writers Association: Designed by working writers for writers, the N-I-P Bookcamp will be held May 18-24, 2014 at a lovely 100-acre rural retreat in southeast Wisconsin, less than two hours north of Chicago. Whether you’re working on your first book, are an Indie author, or a working writer wanting to advance your current project, the N-I-P Bookcamp has something for you. With one registration fee covering all expenses (except travel), the N-I-P Bookcamp offers: Room and board, Writing craft instruction, Group critique and one-on-one sessions, A day focused on the rapidly diversifying publishing industry, Guest speaker discussions on writing, Personal writing time, Camaraderie with fellow writers sharing your journey, Additional planned activities, And helpful advice on your writing provided by a staff of professional writers, editors and agents. Registration discounts available to members of the Wisconsin Writers Association and the Chicago Writers Association. A group rate is available for three or more writing friends registering together. Accommodations can be arranged for non-writing spouse or significant other. We all want to improve the quality of our work and advance our writing careers tutored by publishing professionals.
