We let Codys dog out yesterday afternoon and then couldnt find him. Came home from bb practice and he was laying in the yard. When we pulled up and he didnt get up I knew it was not good. Sure enough his back right leg was broken. There was a hole in his skin that looked like he had been shot. Cody was mortified. Jasper is his best friend. Got to the Vet office at 9:45 pm, did xrays and figured out it was not a bullet. It was were the bone poked thru the skin. They did surgery to and put a rod in it today. I know accidents happen but I have never ran over a dog and if it ever does happen I sure wont just leave it laying.
