We took both of the boys to their ent appointment this morning and the sweetest thing happened in the car on the ride there :) Isaac was asking me what they were going to do to him and as I was explaining it, he told me that they werent going to put a tube in his tummy, Austin proceeded to say that he had one. I told him that it was there to make him healthy, which of course, he didnt understand. Isaac told him that it was ok, that they were going to get big and strong together! I love the way that they support each other!! As far as the appointment went, both of the boys passed their hearing tests...happy dance!! Isaac had a lot of wax in his right ear so they had to clean it out and his tube was stuck in the crud. Neither of the boys have tubes in their ears anymore and we are hoping they can keep them out and not have any ear infections. If they get an infection again, the tubes will have to be replaced. Austin is scheduled for yet another surgery, this one is to do a rigid scope study. They will be going through his throat with a hard scope to try and see what is going on and why his is still asperating his fluids at the age of 3. He shouldnt be doing that anymore without a medical reason. We are praying that they can figure out a reason for it. He is scheduled for surgery on Friday, they wanted to get him in asap. The surgery itself will only last about 15-20 minutes but he will be sedated for the procedure. Please keep him in your prayers as any surgery with a brittle asthmatic can go bad very quickly! Isaac has speech therapy in just a little bit and then we have the rest of the afternoon off :) Thank you all for your love and support! We appreciate all of you!
