The Del Rey team has worked for many years on these books and we all share your love of the Legends/EU characters and stories. As we have stated, there are currently no plans for new books under the Legends banner. Theres a deeper level of collaboration with Lucasfilm and its partners that were confident will provide you, the readers, with amazing Star Wars stories in books, comics, television, video games, and movies. Not only does this mean more Star Wars stories, but it also means we can officially say for the first time that the books are part of the canon. Again, we all have tremendous love and admiration for the EU/Legends tales, and they will continue to inspire and influence stories that will be told for generations to come.
