Weather Update: High Resolution models are differing from the latest NAM 4 model. HRRR shows robust likely supercell thunderstorms developing in northwestern Oklahoma and moving south and slightly southeast along the Oklahoma/Texas border this evening. While the NAM 4 shows a large group or severe thunderstorms coming out of Kansas and northwestern Oklahoma and sweeping across the entire metro region this evening. A general consensus will agree severe storms will be quite likely given the degree of shear, moisture, and instability the atmosphere will provide. More updates will be possible later this afternoon.
