Week 8.... I know its not always easy to stay on track... But you can fall off, but the great thing is you can get right back on... Today is the day to get back on track all.... Lets start by Choose calories full of nutrients! Fruits & Veggies Fresh fruits and vegetables are naturally low in fat, sodium (salt), sugar, and calories while being great sources of essential nutrients that most of us could use more of. (When choosing frozen fruits and veggies, choose those without added sodium, sugar or sauces.) Boosting your veggie and fruit intake can help you reach and maintain a healthy weight and lower your risk of many chronic diseases. Making the choice to “focus on fruits” and “vary your veggies” every day will help you form healthy eating habits and build a healthy lifestyle. • Tracking your weekly weight; • Physical activity time: Engage in at least 30 minutes of physical activity daily (at least 210 minutes weekly); • Tracking all food and beverages at least two weekdays and one weekend day to make sure you are eating and drinking within your recommended calorie range; • Choosing only whole grain foods; • Filling half of your plate with fruits & Veges; Have a great week all. Be sure to get off your bottoms, and give at least 30 minutes a day exercise. Track your food & stay accountable. Deanna
