Well, I am leaving Texas in just a little while, absolutely spent and exhausted in the very best sense of those terms. Profound thanks to the Christians who assemble on Rice Road in Tyler for an exhilarating, transformative weekend. Events like that dont happen very often. In fact, Im not sure I have ever before been privileged to speak to a more receptive, appreciative, and spiritual-minded audience. What a joy! I leave this wonderful place with a storehouse of rich memories that will support me on many dark days in the future. Wayward and negligent as I have been, it is an immense privilege to be able to do this kind of work at this point in my life. Thank you, Tyler TX! And thanks to so many who drove such long distances to encourage us in the meeting . . . at least, anywhere outside of Texas it would be considered long distances. ;-)
