Well, I never did it as a kid, but after 52 years I can finally say Ive done a paper round. :-) Covering for the daughter who was off partying and staying over at friends on Saturday night. Muggins got elected because Sandra has her Kirk on a Sunday and Shaun is simply too bliddy lazy. Why do I see this becoming a habit ?? Quite enjoyed it actually but I would have to moan about the Sunday bloody supplements that make it near impossible to fold the things up small enough to fit through the average letterbox. Anyway, managed to get everything delivered to the correct addresses and was relieved to get to the end without any spare papers left over. One wee incident half way through the round when I opened one old dears door and this big daft black lab made a dash for it .... ended up chasing the feel brute up and down Soy Avenue trying to recapture it ! :-D
