Well... We find ourselves at DeVos once again, between cycles. I am now a firm believer that what you say will eventually manifest into reality. Ill be taking the lead from our dear friend, Brian Scinisco, to have the goal not to complain this week. Complaining doesnt do much... only generates negative feelings & puts ya in a parking lot full of emotional static. Lucas was admitted last night for abdominal pain and fever. Weve started the normal regimen of broad spectrum anti-biotics and fluids. We are taming the pain with morphine every 2 hrs as needed and that has helped quite a bit. Still waiting to hear from the docs as to what they think is the issue. Could be mucusitis, which is common for chemo patients. (Mucus lining of mouth, intestines, throat can shed and become painful with mouth sores and ulcers in stomach and throat). X-ray was taken this morning and looked good (except for a moderate amount of poop in there... pray for a good dooker this morning so he can have some relief). It looks like our MIBG scans (nuclear med scans that essentially light up cancer locations) will be delayed until further notice. They were scheduled for tomorrow. We are still hoping to do the CT scan tomorrow but, again, will wait to hear from docs. I am remembering, now, that we need to look for the positive points of our days... stay in the light & pass it on. Laugh a lot... it makes us ALL feel better. Oh that reminds me...
