Well lets see.....So far this has been one emotional month and its only the 4th day! My daughter Briana Wyatt who came to live with me almost two tears ago moved to Pensacola with her boyfriend on Tuesday. I will admit, I had a hard time controlling my emotions as I hugged her and watched her drive off to begin a new life. David Calhoun is a good guy and Im happy for them both. Today 9/4 I go into work, conduct our T1 meeting as usual, comment on the effort that the team has been doing to get the KC-10 engine out as requested by the customer way ahead of schedule. Great job! Team! Then the world crashes. I get called up front and get laid off my job. Yup after 18 years and 3 months, Im unemployed at the moment. Reduction in work force lack of business my job has been eliminated. How am I taking it you might ask....well not to bad actually which in its self is shocking me. Somehow I will survive. I have a great woman Dana Britten Wyatt who supports me and the best family anyone could ever have. On top of that I have some good friends that I have know for a long time. Take care everyone. Im going to sit back, play clash of clans, get on facebook and watch Oprah. LOL------NOT
