Well there we have it. Why the Gov is giving away £400 for free child care. Its just so that they get the youngest people into work, who are in WORK POVERTY. In other words...those on benefits or credits for income support . The DWP is forcing ALL of these people to be back in work once the child is at the very latest 5 years old. Regardless of whether those parents and sometimes only one parent, wishes to abandon their child or family to child care. The DWP INSISTS that all claiming dole with kids of this age MUST go back into work. So I propose are they being sanctioned for this if they choose to remain with their children longer in the home, or is this as I suspect ESF money via Brussels via DWP via Jobcentreplus forcing them into jobs. Not because they need taxpayers but because they are propping up the failing WORK PROGRAMME????? And this is why earlier this year we saw child care money for only SOME mums with kids under 2 years of age returning into work. Namely those in poverty being forced into work or sanctioned if not. Not equality at all. Intimidation!!!! The lone parents lot. £13,500 a piece in value to the Prime providers of the Work Programme. The WP is run by private investment companies.
