Well, today I lost my shadow of the last almost 14 years. The one female on this earth that actually thought higher of me than I do. Also the one that has been with me longer. But today she gave up the fight against old age, feeling poorly, and just worn out. No matter how large an area we were in, she had to be in the same square foot as me. She was hand-fed her last meals, brushed, and catered to. Other females have come and gone in the last 13-14 years, but she was always there....right there. But this morning, I picked out a white towel with roses on it to wrap her in, and set out in the rain to bury my shadow. I finished by asking the Lord to Please watch your step now, shell be all up under your feet. Other names were vetoed by me when she was born, and I named her after a female I admired. So Ill say goodbye now to Patsy The Wonder-Dog. I miss you already.
