Went for my annual diabetic eye exam today . . . however it was my first visit since 2010. Isnt it amazing how time flies? Anyway, I got a good report. He said my eyes were in great shape for someone with an AC1 of 10.2. He couldnt see any damage from the diabetes. He also said there were signs of a slight effect from hypertension. I finally got a new glucometer the other day and starting to check my blood sugar. It was only 307 the first time and 297 the 2nd. For those of you who are not informed . . . the normal range is 90 to 120. Guess I need to get with the program. Anyway, have a Happy Thanksgiving everybody. Vickis whipping up a huge dinner for just a few of us tomorrow. I think its only gonna be me & her, Dallas & Wendy (and Roscoe), and Dana & Garrett with Courtney & Skyler. See you in the funny paper.
