What a year 2014 has been. Below is the speech I made last night at my birthday party!! I felt led to share it with you all. Like to thank yall for coming out tonight. Wow what a crowd you guys are awesome. If you have food in your fridge, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of the world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet and spare change in a dish at home, you are among the top 8% of the words wealthy. If you woke up this morning with more health than illness you are more blessed than the million people who will not survive this week. If you can count the number of friends you have on more than one hand then you are better off than 50% of the planet. 8 years ago when shortly after I accepted Jesus Christ as my person savior I realize that because I wasnt going to have children of my own that the impact I would make on this planet would be directly related to the number of people I had a relationship with. So I looked at my address book and I realize that the 100 people I had in there wasnt going to be as big as my vision. To be honest I had no idea how I was going to accomplish this God sized goal. 8 years later well here I am. I have an incredible chef for a roommate, Im blessed to live in the heart of the north side, I have an incredible networking event entering into its 4th season. A growing marketing firm that is making a huge impact for our clients. But most of all I have you all. Some of you Ive known for many years and a few I am meeting for the first time tonight. The one thing I know for a fact before I ever set eyes on a person is that God doesnt make junk. And He is the giver of perfect gifts. I might not have a clue as to how we will all impact each others lives but I know I owe it to him to strive every day to find out why. So please please please friends know that our friendship is my greatest asset on this planet and I appreciate each and everyone if you. I thank you from the depths of my being for being a part of my life. I look forward to what 2015 has in store for us. Thank you for being here!!! Now lets get back to the party!!! And left me take a selfie!!
