What is peace? The answer which most of us often try to find. All of us. Well, its merely on the basis of perception; peace is whatever you make it to be. Different to different people. BUT, humanity and its history since the existence of the universe has definitely lain down some moral principles of what peace IS NOT. And, ask yourself, do we follow those principles? Peace is often stigmatized. Peace is not happiness or laughter. It has barely any correlation with it, really. Peace can be found in the darkest of times, and in the brightest of lights. Peace can be a mixture of all the emotions a human being can essentially experience, or just a single one. Peace is NOT WEED - to all you f*ckheads going all rastafarian, did Bob Marley ever sing about smoking pot to be happy? Did he? Did you ever find that in his lyrics? NO. He sung about peace. About change. About life. What he did was a lifestyle, NOT means of achieving peacefulness, and he knew that himself. Do not confuse it, idiots. Do you just not see how this lifestyle and idealogy has been marketed to you? Branded to you? This idealogy of partying to be happy? And you say youre free. My foot. Peace is not success. Peace is not wealth. Peace is not power. I mean, we all know that, but do we ever stop our rat race for materialism? Do we stop wanting and moaning over the things we want and we think we deserve? No. None of us can deny that. No matter how small or big, we always want what we DONT need, and forget almost instantaneously about the things we have which we dont need as well. If you are deprived, then that is a different case. But, are you? Even the poor does not want to be rich, they just want to be happy and for their children to live healthy lives, doesnt matter how rich or how poor. And really, how many of you ever wanted a thing/object/anything which you NEEDED? Which you can utilize? Tell me, how many of you? You get an iPhone, but use its functionality to only 15%. Its an incredibly diverse object built for diverse people, but are you? Have you really needed it? Have you really USED it? And iPhone is just an example. Peace isnt merely naturalism, neither it is modernity. Peace can be a considered a unified feeling, which scatters by itself in various directions. It is influential, not ignorant. How often are some of us fooled into believing that planting trees will help the world make the better place? In practicality, it helps us breathe, it beautifies our environment, but it isnt alone going to change much. There are still people out there involved in todays mass industrialism and corporacy trying to tarnish our world, and were completely ignorant of that! Oh, manush kharap, shorkar kharap, duniya kharap and thats where we end it, dont we? Why dont we initiate to make a move? Are we afraid to stand up to them? Are we such COWARDS? Forget about initiating, why arent we least aware? Aware of how our commercial lives are basically being controlled? We think nothings gonna happen but ten/fifty/thousand years from now, when our children is going to suffer AGAIN from communism and dictatorship, only they will be the sufferer. Because of us. History repeats itself, remember that. Peace is not love. LOVE IS PEACE. One cannot achieve peace waiting for love; it can be only achieved by loving. This is one fact, one feeling which history did prove to be true. When all the world is in turmoil, it is love which can only save the day. It always did. And that particular saying has been marketed as a gay one whereas it is actually the purest one. Now you see how our thoughts have been rather controlled and twisted? Do you? Today is World Peace Day. Well, the day is over - yet I feel a slight pint of frustration rather than peace. I think you all could sense that. And that, my friends, is what Im trying to do. Im trying to bring peace in me by bringing it in you. Lets change. Shall we? Lets make a move. Lets stop blaming superficial borders and obstructions. Lets stop being hypocrites. One by one, lets take big steps and small steps. All for peace. Not for gain, not for pride, not for hatred, but for peace. We dont have to give a home to a homeless person or be recognized on Wikipedia as some sort of a humanist to be peaceful and share peace. Just changing the way we think, can make the worlds difference. And if you thought that what I just said was lengthy, unnecessary, and just dissolved words of a facebooker - change it. Change what youre thinking. Im not some philosopher, I just try really hard to be human. You should do too. When I said history repeats itself, maybe I was right. But I forgot to mention - we can change history. Thats what human beings out of all living creatures are known for. You may say Im a dreamer.. But Im not the only one. :)
