What is your opinion on hallmarking Silver? Bearing in mind that hallmarking is not a legal requirement on silver items under 7.78g, it would add to the cost and take around 2 weeks to send an item to the assay office and have returned, would you prefer charms to be hallmarked or not? The alternative is a 999 (fine silver) or 925 (sterling silver) stamp which I can do myself in 10 seconds at no extra cost! Do you think this is sufficient or would you rather wait and pay the extra for an official hallmark?
