Single parent households dont always mean divorce. It also means a parent passed away, or a parent was in the military and away, or worked far away. Jeff was raised by a single parent. Our son Dan, was raised by me for the first 8 years of his life. My friend Joanne was raised by her mom - her dad was a merchant marine, growing up by West Point and Stewart Air Force Base, many, many kids were raised in one parent household.
