When 3-year-old Victoria Wilcher arrived at her doctor’s appointment Tuesday, she was greeted with gifts. Ocularist Raymond Peters of Center for Custom Prosthetics along with his wife and director Susan Peters presented the timid but curious child with a baby doll. Victoria, accompanied by her mother Tina and a family friend Janet Kellum, was being fitted for her prosthetic eye in the first of a handful of visits with Southwest Florida medical professionals this week.
