When I was a high school student, Dead Poets Society confirmed to me that there is true value in a love of literature, knowledge, and self expression, despite what popular society often claimes . Likewise, when I saw Good Will Hunting at the theater with Jason Fairburn, Fawn Francis, and Stephanie McCullough I related to the existential challenges facing lost twenty something Gen X college kids. Im not a fan of celebrity culture and can not claim to be a follower of all of Robin Williams films; but I can say that some of his portrayals inspired me in ways few films have.
