When I was at UVA there was a single-sanction for any violation of the Universitys Honor Code: expulsion. The fact that the offenses detailed in this article carried a lesser punishment makes a mockery of the word Honor and disqualifies the UVA community from claiming the University is an honor-bound institution. [This is very hard to read. I feel so fortunate to have been mostly insulated from this kind of behavior in my life, and such profound sympathy for the unfortunate people who have encountered it.
