When we left the house to go to the pound today, 7 of the 8 dogs - TopicsExpress

When we left the house to go to the pound today, 7 of the 8 dogs on LAST CHANCE were safe...we drove slowly...we wanted to delay looking into the eyes of the one dog that we hadnt found a home for...we knew we had let him down. ANGUS HAD an adopter, but they backed out, leaving us only 5 hours to find him a home..5 short hours...we had lost 24 hours ....now, it was 2:45 and no one had called about him. We got to the pound right at 3pm. there was only 1 family there to get their new family member....Jagger met his new mommy and new human brother, and it was love at first sight. So happy. 3:15. No call for ANGUS. It was time to face the obvious...We were going to lose our first Last Chance dog. GOD must have been holding back, or just waiting to see what we did, or maybe he heard all of the prayers we had been sending, but he touched the Heart of an ARF Foster, and she agreed to bring him into the system...ANGUS was safe...touchdown in overtime.....we could have (and I will never admit if we DID ) cried. We processed the rest of the animals: Buck, Katie, Angus, Jessie, Deuce, Jagger, and Penny...and called it a day...ALL safe.... Lona Banks, Sharon Kiethly, and Heather Mansfield pulled it off again... I am sure GOD played a major part in this weeks success as well. Also, all the shares, prayers, and cares from all of you made this happen. Without our Last Chance Team, yall, and God, this wouldnt be as successful as it has been. We love yall. Thank You. And please, pray for those we will be seeing NEXT Monday.
