While this dates back to June 1967, it is a cover-up of war crimes against American interests by Israel that has continued to this day, a concerted obstruction of justice at the highest levels, that is indicative of the lengths Israel has been willing to go, even against US interests and directives to the contrary, to get away with her unilateral agendas. This has powerful implications and parallels in foreign policy interests today as well as we seek our greater international interests for peace and rapprochement, nuclear and otherwise, with significant players and potential partners in the region, and for justice and human rights interests directly involving Israels internal policies and actions vis-a-vis her Palestinian population that have perpetually inflamed the Middle East. This testimony and appeal comes from one of the few survivors of Israels attack: The USS Liberty incident was an attack on a United States Navy technical research ship, USS Liberty, by Israeli Air Force jet fighter aircraft and Israeli Navy motor torpedo boats during the Six-Day War. The combined air and sea attack killed 34 crew members, wounded 171 crew members, and severely damaged the ship. ...THE US GOVT. PUT A GAG ORDER ON THE ENTIRE CREW because Israel has managed to so infiltrate the American political system to effectively intimidate, threaten, and manipulate US Politicians to vote their way or they DO NOT GET ELECTED OR RE-ELECTED. Israels belligerence and meddling in US politics must be put in check, and this dysfunctional and dangerous relationship seriously re-examined and corrected. It certainly does not merit being supported and enabled by continuing financial and military aid to the tune of 3.1 billion dollars every year that is continually used against the best interests of the entire world, US and Israel included.
