One of my favorite times of the week. A time to put away the worries of the world, the influences of the world, a time to do what we should be doing all the time, amen? Its true the world fights against us, in trying to do that. The world even makes different versions of Jesus. How many of you ever heard the term, One hit wonder, when it comes to music? Well there are many false churches out there, that are, One verse wonders. With no discernment of the entire Scripture, the world has built the worlds Jesus. We have two standard verities of this world Jesus. One Jesus does not care about anything, one way or another. You not to say anything, do anything, breath wrong, in any kind of way so dare say, something in the world is wrong. I call it the hippy Jesus. Peace, love and happiness. As the world goes to hell around you! The next Jesus is the slave driver Jesus. There is always another work to be done, no matter what you did, and your personal best, better be the same as God. Now I must admit, Ive never had anyone who could tell me exactly what was finished on the Cross, as the Christ declared! But they are all sure that they have to do it themselves. And either of these two standard Jesus can come in any variety. Two very common ones, Jesus the angel and the parts that Jesus missed. The idea that Jesus is an angel, can only come from someone who has never read the Bible. The idea that Jesus is not the finished work, can only come from someone who has never read the bible. So lets dive into that tonight. Lets look at what the Bible says about the real Jesus. Isaiah 7:14 Amplified Bible (AMP) 14 Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign: Behold, the young woman who is unmarried and a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel [God with us]. Now many confuse this verse, with the name of Jesus. But the verse does not say, and His name shall be! What the verse says is, we will call the Messiah, God with us. How many of yall practice calling an angel, God? If youre doing that, youre on the wrong train, youre on that long black train! Churches that say that, people that teach that are not following the Christ. They are following a heresy, a blaspheme! Isaiah 43:11-12 Amplified Bible (AMP) 11 I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no Savior. 12 I have declared [the future] and have saved [the nation in times of danger], and I have shown [that I am God]—when there was no strange and alien god among you; therefore you are My witnesses, says the Lord, that I am God. God, Himself has declared that He is your only Savior. The Scriptures say, that the Savior is called GOD among us! Now some may think, this aint no big deal. Were still following this Hebrew thing, we still say Jesus, so whats the big deal? This is the big deal! Revelation 3:16 Amplified Bible (AMP) 16 So, because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of My mouth! And some may say, its ok to take out the pieces that people dont like or add in more peaces to make the Bible more new world. Oh please!! How far from the real truth are you? Here is what God had to say about that. Revelation 22:17-21 Amplified Bible (AMP) 17 The [Holy] Spirit and the bride (the church, the true Christians) say, Come! And let him who is listening say, Come! And let everyone come who is thirsty [who is painfully conscious of his need [a]of those things by which the soul is refreshed, supported, and strengthened]; and whoever [earnestly] desires to do it, let him come, take, appropriate, and drink the water of Life without cost. 18 I [personally solemnly] warn everyone who listens to the statements of the prophecy [the [b]predictions and the consolations and admonitions pertaining to them] in this book: If anyone shall add anything to them, God will add and lay upon him the plagues (the afflictions and the calamities) that are recorded and described in this book. 19 And if anyone cancels or takes away from the statements of the book of this prophecy [these [c]predictions relating to Christ’s kingdom and its speedy triumph, together with the consolations and admonitions or warnings pertaining to them], God will cancel and take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the city of holiness (purity and hallowedness), which are described and promised in this book. 20 He Who gives this warning and affirms and testifies to these things says, Yes (it is true). [Surely] I am coming quickly (swiftly, speedily). Amen (so let it be)! Yes, come, Lord Jesus! 21 The grace (blessing and favor) of the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) be [d]with all the saints (God’s holy people, [e]those set apart for God, to be, as it were, exclusively His). Amen (so let it be)! In closing, who is Jesus? GOD! What is Jesus? GOD the creator that came down out of love to save His creation from the things they do not know! Now many will reject God, but as the Bible says the ways of a man are right in his own eyes. And that mentality has helped build these false Jesus and false churches.
