Why cant we all just be ONE Muslim Ummah? Over a billion and a half Muslims yet seperated into over 52 different nations and now many different sects. There is no such thing as nationalism in Islam. Africans, Indians, Arabs, Americans, Iraqis, Syrians, etc are just titles placed on us. Allah swt says in the Quran: The believers are but a single brotherhood (49.10), & countless other verses telling us to protect one another, help each other, and not break away into sects as the other religions have. We all believe in the same God, same Quran, same Prophets, fast the same days, pray facing the same Qiblah, believe in the same day of judgement, go to Hajj at the same place, etc....we should stop using the words Sunni, Shia, etc n just use the word MUSLIM. When somebody asks you after today what type of Islam you follow, reply with, Im just Muslim bro, simple as that. While we waste time arguing over POLITICS and fighting with each other, our countries and our women are being raped, and our men slaughtered like sheep. We are supposed to be an EXAMPLE to all of mankind.
