Willcox Wine Country Spring Festival May 17/18, 2014 Call for Winery and Vendor Applications Its time to get busy for the 2014 Spring Wine Festival in Willcox Wine Country! The Willcox Wine Country partnership committee and the Willcox Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture are working diligently to make this years festivals the biggest and best ever. Over the last three festivals we have averaged: • 18 wineries • 12 vendors • 1200 tasting patrons/1450 last Fall • 2000-3000 total attendees New or Continued for Spring 2014: • Room for 20 Wineries and 25 Vendors • Wineries must have a Cochise or Graham County connection, if necessary, preference will be given to those new applicant wineries that feature Cochise or Graham County Fruit. • Addition of corporate sponsors • Advertising and promotion directly to the Tucson market • Upgraded entertainment • Bigger layout onto Railroad Avenue • Wineries and Vendors will be mixed in the layout • Railroad Avenue closed to traffic • Community activity area • Upgraded event trade dress and furnishings throughout the festival site • Festival program • Jury for non-winery Vendors, Local, self made/grown products will have preference • Sam Pillsbury reception/film screening on Saturday night at Willcox Historic Theater This is your opportunity to participate in the best and biggest wine festival in Arizona devoted to Willcox area produced fruit and wine! If there are more than 25 applications, the WWC committee will jury the applications and choose the vendors that will be invited to participate. Those accepting the invitation must supply a check, made out to the Willcox Chamber of Commerce for $200, and mailed prior to April 18, 2014 to: Rod Keeling 10277 E Rock Creek Lane Pearce, AZ 85625 Food Vendors There will be room for two food operations at the Spring Festival. Health Department licensed only. The fee is $200 and the check needs to be to the Chamber and mailed to Rod Keeling. We still have several opportunities to support Willcox Wine Country, (Cochise and Graham Counties wine growing areas) and build and promote your companys brand to the wine industry principals and wine patrons of Southeast Arizona.
