With retirement coming up quickly. I have been thinking more about what is next. Starting an EMT program next fall. This will allow me to get certified and maybe work in an ER to start getting hours towards Physicians Assistant school. Need to get 2,000 hours of clinical experience to even apply to most schools. Then two years of classes and the p.a. Exam for certification. Then maybe my dream of getting a small 4 wheel drive pick up a nod putting a vet box on it so I can go to remote homes and with a sat phone provide medical service under Doctors supervision. Now taking a Emergency Management Course as a precursor to EMT training and certification classes at night. Red Cross First Aide Certification plans for this summer. We will see how that goes. Big change from teaching!!!
