With the exception of a few candles burning on the deck, the garden was as dark as any other forest. My swim suit was hanging on a large nail in the changing area and I was in the cool night waters without it. The stars above me could be seen through the folds of the foliage of the overhanging trees and the soft singing of the dancing water from both pond and pool blended with the night sounds of summer. Moments of delectation are the times that give life its real value. Small quiet moments that are such a delight as to make us feel we are in the right place, at the right moment, standing on the summit, well above enlightenment.
