Wonderful tribute to a beautiful & yet very troubled soul. The life story of Vincent Van Gogh should be a lesson to all of us, (in compassion)... I think that Vincents favorite color was the bright cobalt yellow so prominent in so many of his great works, & representing the full glory of the noon-day sun; while as yet full glory & brightness of the man was shrouded over by the demons of illness he struggled with, (and sadly, during his lifetime, this was the only aspect of Vincent that most people took notice of)... While the world around him at large mercilessly shunned & ridiculed him, he did have one faithful confidant in his brother Theo who saw the spark of greatness in him, and thank God for that, for had it not been for Theo, the world would have almost certainly never been blessed with the work of this amazing man! Many of you likely have a relative or someone within your extended family ect. who is also struggling with mental illness, and if you do, please, please dont shut that person out. Let them know that there is at least one person who loves them and is able to see through the clouds to the real beauty of the soul that lies within that person... Trust me when I say that it will do them a world of good, (more than any therapist, facility or doctor can ever do for them)!... God bless all :-)
