Word to the wise: Ive read so many heart felt statuses about New Years Resolutions and getting rid of excess weight and baggage in the New a Year and to the Ear gate that sounds great! But what I have not seen or heard was the people of God taking responsibility for their personal walk with God. Your relationship with God is not predicated on how well the praise team sings on Sunday or whether your pastor whoops in B flat and walks the pews. God is holding us accountable for our attitude towards Him and said to me that some of our attitudes will keep us out of Heaven. So what will the New Year be like if we never examine the man in the mirror and stop blaming everyone else for our lack of progression in life. If you want something different, do something different. Weve left churches, still havent progressed, weve unfriended folk on Facebook, still havent progressed, weve changed our friends, still havent progressed. If weve changed all these facets and still havent progressed, who is responsible?????? Did we ever consider that our thought process might be our problem? In this New Year, stop blame shifting. When we stand before God, the prophet who gave you the prophecy wont be there to give an account, your Pastor wont be present, people that did us wrong wont be present, and relatives that didnt have our best interest wont be present, it will be ourselves and God. We will be without excuse. Leave a legacy on the a Earth. When you leave the World should know your name. #greater is He! This is the year that I will talk less, and do more! Lets go 2015
