Years ago, after leaving a Brobecks gig, we were pulled over in our van. I forget the official reason, but the officer made it clear that it was his intention to confiscate our van along with all of our equipment under civil forfeiture law. The only reason we managed to escape the situation was that the officer was called away to an emergency down the road. He ordered us to stay put so that our property could be seized upon his return. Needless to say we got the eff out of there. Hopefully this kind of thing will be reformed soon. Too many innocent, hard working people and families are being taken advantage of. #crazyoutrageoustourstories
