Yesterday was spent touring the ships docked in the San Diego Harbor. Here are a few pictures of the USS Midway. Someone said it would take 1/2 day to tour this HUGE aircraft carrier. I was on it for more than 3 hours! A few pictures are below. The pictures show the War Room, and control rooms used during Desert Storm in 1991. Other pictures are of the flight deck and two pictures of some interesting, impressive facts. Met some of the retired military who served on the Midway and now give of their time as docents. Yesterday was a CLEAR reminder the FREEDOM IS NOT FREE.
