ZANACO VS NKANA PLAYER RATINGS 1. Rabson Muchelenganga. Rabson saved some sure Zanaco goals and was good in defending set pieces. Rabson though almost cost Nkana with some poor kicks upfront that Zanaco failed to capitalise on. 6/10 2. Noel Phiri. The Nkana rightback was tormented by Zanacos winger Augustine Mulenga several times but recovered with some crucial tackles. 5/10 3. Maybin Chishimba. He played well and kept the Zanaco attack at bay and also helped in attack with some great overlapping. 6/10 4. Amos Simwanza. A dissapointing game from Amos. Moses Phiris goal lies mostly on him for failing to close down the Zanaco striker by narrowing the angle. Also looked unsure of himself at times. 4/10 5. Derrick Mwansa. Great play from Nkanas centerback and he could well be on his way to a full National Team Cap. He was assured in defence and won all his aerial duels against Moses Phiri. A little unsportmanship behaviour spoilt his game when he cruelly hacked down Moses Phiri in retaliation for a Nkana player who had been hacked down by Zanacos defence. 6/10. 6. Sydney Kalume. A lot was said about his form but he was one of Nkanas best performer and kept Zanacos Rodrick Kabwe quiet. He also helped calm Nkana fans who began throwing bottles onto the pitch. 7/10 7. Claude Bwalya. He gave a great account of himself, hustling and keeping the Zanaco defence busy with his runs. 6/10 8. Kelvin Mubanga. An immaculate performance from Muba as he controled proceedings with exquisite touches and vision, switching play from right to left and leaving the Zanaco defence chasing shadows. He almost scored a classic freekick only for his shot to crash onto the cross bar. 8/10. 9. Festus Mbewe. He tried his best but was hugely dissapointing though he held the ball up well at times. 4/10 10. Tony Odur scored a typical Goal reminiscent of his KCCA days when he came from deep and put the ball inbetween the two centerbacks who struggled to close him down before he placed a low shot past an outstretched Allan Chibwe. Tonys style is quite different from the typical Zambian Striker but that style won Nkana FC the majority of the teams freekicks in Zanacos Half. 7/10 11. Simon Bwalya. It wasnt up to his usual Standards but his game was enough to trouble Zanaco as he weaved through Zanaco defenders with his quick feet but poor positioning and anticipation from Festus made Nkana miss some glorious chances. 6/10 SUBS Shadreck Musonda. The former Kalulushi Modern Stars wonderboys inclusion made Nkana step up a gear with his magical footwork and workrate. His finish was a great one and helped Nkana pull level. 7/10 Lottie Nyimbili. Didnt do much but helped the team maintain some balance and had very few misplaced passes as he linked up well with the midfielders. 6/10
