finally, after all your help...it is complete, it is awful...but it is complete.... I must say that I have learned so much from this sweater and this group. let me make a list of all of the things I have learned: 1..folded hem on sleeves and bottom 2 lace 3 using the lettering from the machine...965i.how to input and get it in the right position (only took about 6 tries bwahahaha) 4 how to knit a pocket 5 how to put an edge on pocket 6 how to do stripes without cutting the thread every row 7 how to do a cut and sew neckline...(though I need lots more practice to make it look great) 8 how to do a button band (again so done with it by now i didnt perfect it and it looks awful.) 9 how to use my new dl1000 linker (which was the only reason I even started the project ) 10 how to follow a pattern step by step from a magazine 11 getting the perfect guage on a swatch thanks everyone...it has to be easier next time...right lol
