hhgreg will not allow ME to pick an order I placed online with them on Friday night because my debit card was compromised, and my card no longer exists, however, they are HOLDING my funds on which they have the bank authorization, which will now still be HELD for another 48 hours. The purchaser must have photo ID and the card which was used to place the order. However, ANYONE authorized to pick it up on the order only needs two pieces of identification to pick it up. My own multiple pieces of ID and the bank authorization of my transaction isnt good enough for them. I even have the original printout of the order. Why will they allow someone else to pick it up at all, if the actual purchaser HAS to produce the card at pick-up? It just seems a bit bass-ackwards to me, and I am thoroughly disgusted with this company and their policy. Pretty sure I will NOT be honoring them with my business in the future, and very glad my bank does such a good job of protecting my financial security.
